Business Analyst

In order to meet the growing needs of our Italian  team, Valuement Italia is looking for a Business Analyst to join the Operation business unit in Florence.

Responsibilities:

By being part of our operational team, you will be responsible for analyzing accounting transactions and relavant documentation of our Client(s) in order to identify any process inefficiencies.

Your main activities will consist in:

  • developing a good understanding of our Clients regarding their businesses, processes, tools, organizational structures and b2b contracts;
  • developing a strong knowledge of large retail chains;
  • creating and sharing reports with managers on a regular basis, using standard and Valuement tools;
  • identifing any weeknesses in our client processes;
  • negotiating with client suppliers to close open accounting items.
Ideal profile:
  • Degree in:
    • Economics
    • Statistics
    • Computer science
    • Information System;
    • Management Engineering
    • Or related field
    • Or an equivalent combination of education and work experience;
  • Accounting and finance knowledge;
  • Good command of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel- pivot, vlookup, macro);
  • Good command of SAP, AS400 and / or other accounting software;
  • 1 – 2 year(s) of experience, preferably in similar role;
  • Experience in Retail, large retail chains, FMCG field or consulting companies will be a plus;
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong numerical, analytical, organizational and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Detail oriented
  • Customer oriented;
  • Excellent written and verbal dialectical skills;
  • Driving licence and car.
